Ridge Motorsports Park has announced its partnership with Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex with the release of a 2020 SXS Series

SHELTON, WA, January 24, 2020 — Early this month the Ridge Motorsports Park teased their riders with the announcement of a 2020 side by side series, now they have delivered. The Ridge debuts its partnership with Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex as they jointly unveil the “2020 Rampage Northwest Off Road Series”. This series will feature UTV’s across several classes with races hosted by both facilities. The Rampage series will consist of 12 races alternating between the two tracks by kicking off this February with the series’ first practice session held at Horn Rapids and the first race held at the Ridge’s Paulson’s Motorsports Off-Road Park.

“This partnership is an exciting opportunity not only for our facilities, but for the racers. Combining the series provides two great racing surfaces and a creative approach to grow the series,” said Ridge General Manager Tracie Schmitt.

The Rampage series will consist of 6 races at the Ridge Motorsports Park and 5 races at Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex. With the 12th race of the series titled “Rampage Track Battle – Championship Night”, this final race will allow riders the choice of which track they wish to call home and battle it out for the final series points.

“This will be the biggest SXS series across the Northwest” said Ray Coffman, Owner of Horn Rapids. “We are extremely excited about the series and the potential growth of SXS racing not only for our tracks but for Washington State as well”

Concluding the 2020 series the Ridge Motorsports Park will host the first annual Rampage Banquet at their Performance Center in late November. Racers who completed 8 out of the 12 races will qualify for overall cash purses for their class, product giveaways from series sponsors, and will take home the coveted Rampage trophy.
